Dr. Ramachandra grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended Stanford University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biomechanical Engineering. She worked as a design engineer at a medical device company before earning her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine.

She matched to a top residency program in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University. During her residency training in Nashville, she gained extensive experience in surgery of the ears, nose, sinuses and head and neck.

She completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. Russell Ries, Dr. Scott Stephan and Dr. Mark Clymer at Vanderbilt University. During this time she learned advanced techniques in facial reconstruction, facial trauma surgery as well as cosmetic facial plastic surgery.

After completing her training at Vanderbilt, she served as Clinical Fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland before joining St. Louis ENT Health.
